Meatballs were incredibly delicious when we were kids, so we decided to share with you a recipe for classic meatballs.

Ingredients:

  • 500 grams of minced chicken;
  • 50 grams of dry rice;
  • 1 egg;
  • 100 grams of carrots;
  • 100 grams of onion;
  • 3 tablespoons tomato paste;
  • salt, ground pepper and herbs to taste;
  • 40 grams of cheese;
  • 2 tablespoons sour cream 15%;
  • 2 cloves of garlic.

Preparation:

  1. Boil the rice in salted water for 10 minutes, then drain.
  2. Grate the carrots and onions finely (or chop them if you like the taste of cooked onions).
  3. Mince the chicken fillet or use ready-made minced meat. Add rice, onion, carrot, egg, salt, pepper and greens. Mix well.
  4. Form the meatballs and place them on a baking sheet.
  5. Dilute tomato paste with a glass of water, add sour cream, chopped garlic and a little salt. Stir.
  6. Pour the resulting sauce over the meatballs and place in the oven for 25 minutes.
  7. Remove the meatballs, sprinkle them with grated cheese and bake for another 10 minutes until the cheese is browned.
  8. If you prefer a stew, cook the meatballs in a deep frying pan or saucepan.
