Meatballs were incredibly delicious when we were kids, so we decided to share with you a recipe for classic meatballs.
Ingredients:
- 500 grams of minced chicken;
- 50 grams of dry rice;
- 1 egg;
- 100 grams of carrots;
- 100 grams of onion;
- 3 tablespoons tomato paste;
- salt, ground pepper and herbs to taste;
- 40 grams of cheese;
- 2 tablespoons sour cream 15%;
- 2 cloves of garlic.
Preparation:
- Boil the rice in salted water for 10 minutes, then drain.
- Grate the carrots and onions finely (or chop them if you like the taste of cooked onions).
- Mince the chicken fillet or use ready-made minced meat. Add rice, onion, carrot, egg, salt, pepper and greens. Mix well.
- Form the meatballs and place them on a baking sheet.
- Dilute tomato paste with a glass of water, add sour cream, chopped garlic and a little salt. Stir.
- Pour the resulting sauce over the meatballs and place in the oven for 25 minutes.
- Remove the meatballs, sprinkle them with grated cheese and bake for another 10 minutes until the cheese is browned.
- If you prefer a stew, cook the meatballs in a deep frying pan or saucepan.
